Music: 100 Best Songs of 2000-2009

Music loving butterflies, shortly we’ll be jamming out in an entirely new decade, which got me to thinking...what are some of your favorite songs from this decade? Sharing my favorite songs of this year was easy but for melophiles like myself, combining an entire decade of music into one playlist is a bit of a challenge. I love listening to music and I enjoy listening to many different styles and genres of music, so my list of favorite songs can get ridiculous at times. Some of my favorite albums of this decade include: Away From the Sun by 3 Doors Down, Testimony: Vol. 1, Life & Relationship by India Arie, Save Me San Francisco by Train, Back to Black by Amy Winehouse, The Eminem Show by Eminem, Still da Baddest by Trina, Ready by Trey Songz and so many others. For the sake of keeping it simple, below are some of the best and my favorite songs of this decade:

I’m a huge lover of music and since it’ll be a new year soon, I thought I’d share some of my favorite songs with y’all. Below are a few of my favorite songs of this year:

Book: Eat, Pray, Love - by: Elizabeth Gilbert

Eat, Pray, Love - by: Elizabeth Gilbert is the next book from my reading list that I will be reviewing. In this book Elizabeth (in her 30's) is married, has a big house and a great job but one night she realizes that she isn't happy. This book is a collection of personal experiences the author went through while on a journey to finding herself, her purpose and her happiness. Elizabeth’s life experiences were her inspirations for this book. Although I personally don't agree with her leaving her husband to find herself I do understand her need to seek happiness as we all do.

Overall Rating: 4/5
