Butterflies, what do you enjoy most about going to the water-park? National Water-Park Day is celebrated annually on July 28th and now that we’re all getting back outside this is a great opportunity to get outdoors and make some new memories. A day at the water-park can be tons of fun, especially when you plan ahead and pack your waterpark essentials (see list below). Here are some of my favorite Texas Water-Parks:
14) Lago Mar Lagoon | Texas City, Texas -Sand, blue water and a swim-up bar.
13) Surf & Swim | Garland, Texas
12) Margaritaville | Conroe, Texas - Resort water park. If you don’t want to stay at the resort, day-passes are available.
11) SeaWorld -San Antonio, Texas - Water rides and sea life encounters.
10) Big Rivers -New Caney, Texas
9) Forest Oasis Waterpark | The Woodlands, Texas - A beautiful water-park at the Woodlands Resort.
8) Kalahari | Round Rock, Texas - Resort water park. If you don’t want to stay at the resort, day-passes are available.
7) Six Flags Fiesta Texas | San Antonio, Texas - I remember going on a summer road trip in middle school just to visit this water park…one of my best memories. Awesome water rides.
5) Pirates Bay | Baytown, Texas - One of the many fun things Baytown has for visitors to enjoy.
4) Water Works Water Park | Denton, Texas - Small water park located about an hour outside of Dallas. Nice place to cool off and make some fun summer-time memories.
3) Hurricane Harbor/Splash Town | Spring, Texas - Not my favorite water-park but it’s still lots of fun.
2) Texas-Shaped Lazy River | Houston, Texas - A Texas shaped lazy river pool located on the rooftop of Marriott Marquis Houston in downtown Houston.
1) Schlitterbahn | Galveston, Texas - Easily my favorite water park in Texas thus far. Schlitterbahn offers free parking, free life jackets, free kids tubes and guests can bring their own food.
