Visiting Texas: Things to Do in Montrose

Butterflies, without a doubt Montrose is easily one of my favorite neighbors in Houston. Overflowing with quirkinesses and super hipster vibes, the Montrose area is definitely worth the visit if you’re looking to let loose and have some fun while living your best butterfly lifestyle.

Hamburger Mary’s Houston (Montrose) | This place is one of, if not the best place for drag shows in Houston.

The Beer Can House | Covered with beer cans, bottles, and other beer paraphernalia. This once Houston home of John Milkovisch, is now a notable Houston museum.

Velvet Taco | This Dallas born new age taco spot is one of my favorite places to eat in Montrose. Try the hot sauce. Try the red velvet cake.

Montrose Morning Market | If you enjoy strolling local farmers markets and checking out all the unique vendors, you’ll love the Montrose Morning Market.

Space Montrose | Cute little shop with tons of Texas themed items. Great place to shop for gifts.
