Butterflies we took a day trip to Baytown, Texas for a laid back day of adventure just minutes from Houston’s Bay Area. I originally planned to stop by the farmers market only but decided at the last minute to make a day of it. There are so many beautiful art murals and installations all over the city, as well as yummy food. Check out some of the stops we made while in Baytown and a few other interesting things to do in the area:
Baytown Farmers Market -local outdoor market held the third Saturday of every month.
Pirates Bay Water Park - water slides, lazy river and more.
Donath Garden Works -plant and garden shop with a huge selection for both indoor and outdoor.
Caribbean Snacks & Produce -good place for hard to find island favorites.
Alter Ego Comics & Games -store and hangout spot for fans of all things comics and anime.
Umbrella Alley - art installation similar to those in London, San Juan and San Francisco.
Painting With A Twist -art studio for the inexperienced.
Buc-ee’s -this is a Texas road trip must…if you know, you know.
