7 Fun & Budget Friendly Things To Do In the Summer

Aloha Butterflies! What's your favorite season? I personally prefer the fall because the weather is usually just right and the holidays are approaching but, as much as I love fall, I'm not ready for summer to be over just yet. I mean who does when there's just so much fun to be had in the summer months, from cookouts, to water-parks, to festivals, and concerts. Last summer for my birthday I shared with guys "31 Birthday Freebies & Discounts", this year for those who haven't made time to partake in any #SummerFun, I'm sharing a few fun summer activities.  Below is a list of my favorite budget friendly things to do in the summer.

Also, feel free to share your favorite fun things to do in the Summer in the comment section below this post.

1.) Enjoy all the frozen treats your tummy can handle; I'm in love with frozen yogurt!

2,) Visit a museum...I went to the Alamo and the Natural Bridge Caverns in San Antonio, TX two summers ago; educational and physical fun.

3.) Take a road trip...check out my 2014, 2015 and 2016 Texas Summer Road Trips!

4.) Visit the beach, a water-park or sip a drink pool side while your body makes some vitamin d.

5.) Picnic or Cook out...

6.) Go to a ball game...is there anything more fun than eating popcorn and peanuts while cheering on your favorite team? I didn't get to catch a Yankees (my favorite baseball team) game while I was in New York two summers ago but that's ok because I got to see them play in Houston last summer and it was so much fun.

7.) Attend a festival or outdoor concert...use Groupon to find deals on local events.
