Day 29: What non-material thing are you grateful for?

I’m grateful for my thirst for knowledge, adventure and new experiences.

Day 28: What material thing are you grateful for?

I was gifted a really cute copper tumbler for my birthday this year, it’s definitely in my top five favorite tumblers of all time…I love it!!

Day 27: What tradition are you grateful for?

Getting together with all my siblings and cousins for the holidays. It’s always so much fun; an abundance of laughter and good times.

Day 25: What wisdom or you grateful for?

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them.” I hadn’t been obedient to this and for that reason I kept finding myself dealing with the same issues from the same people.

Day 24: What blessing or you grateful for?

I received a reimbursement I wasn’t expecting yesterday.

Day 23: What kindness are you grateful for?

I got a “just saying hi” message from a former coworker earlier this week, she graduates from college next spring. This made me smile.

Day 22: What experience are you grateful for?

I finally got to see Train in concert this year, it was an experience I’ll never forget!

Day 21: What adventure are you grateful for?

I visited Oklahoma for the first time this year.

Day 20: What about today are you grateful for?

I wasn’t as mentally exhausted from work today as I usually am. It’s been a good week at work so far.

Day 19: What memory are you grateful for?

I co-hosted and helped plan a first ever family reunion for my family this year. It was a lot of fun, I saw people I haven’t saw in years and everyone had a great time.

Day 18: What act of physical self-care are you grateful for?

I treated myself to a couple of facials this year. They were amazing and I’m grateful for being able to indulge in those.

Day 17: What act of mental self-care are you grateful for?

I’ve been really serious about protecting my energy lately. So much good energy gets wasted on things and people that don’t really deserve it, which then creates a portal for negativity and negative energy has a way of getting inside and consuming your every thought. Being careful to minimizing inner and outer sources of negativity is the main way I aim to protect my energy. Safeguarding my sphere with positive thoughts and positive conversations is another way I try to protect my energy. Peace & Positive Vibes as often as possible!

Day 15: What personal growth are you grateful for?

I get really bad anxiety when it comes to conflict or confrontations so I usually try to avoid those kind of situations but as I continue to become more self aware and submerge myself in self love, I acknowledge that I need to be more direct when it comes to things that bother me. It’s still a struggle for me but I have been practicing being more direct.

Day 14: What change are you grateful for?

Bittersweet, my kid became a high-schooler this year.

Day 13: What challenge are you grateful for?

Though they suck, I’m grateful for my anxiety triggers. They are helping me become more self-aware.

Day 11: What financial lesson are you grateful for?

This year I finally accepted that just like money, credit score points come and go. I started my financial journey in 2015 and since then I’ve been really adamant about keeping my credit score in a certain range. Before just recently, I would spaz out over losing a few points but now I don’t worry as much, I’ve learned that it’s part of the process.
