15 Top Maya Angelou Quotes

Butterflies, Today would have been Dr. Maya Angelou’s 90th birthday and to honor her I wanted to share with you guys my top fifteen favorite Maya Angelou quotes. Maya Angelou was an poet, writer, singer, memoirist, civil rights activist and so much more; her work has been very influential to almost every aspect of my life, I still remember the chills I got reciting her “Phenomenal Woman” poem for a history performance in grade school. If you’re not familiar with who Maya Angelou was or her work then I would strongly recommend you picking up a copy of one of her books, making yourself comfortable and preparing yourself for a soul awakening treat.
