Visiting Texas: Things To Do in Uptown Houston (Galleria Area)

Butterflies, I recently spent some time in Houston’s uptown area which is just a few minutes from downtown and midtown Houston; I had a fun day filled with good times and new discoveries. 

Check out some of the stops I made while in Uptown Houston and a few other interesting things to do in the area:

Belvedere | nightclub located in the Uptown Park Shopping Center.

Galleria Food Truck Park | a few of Houston’s best food trucks in one place.

Grand Lux | sister location to The Cheesecake Factory and one of my favorite brunch spots in Houston. 

Kamp Houston | casual indoor/outdoor camp themed dining experience.

Rooftop Cinema | open-air movie experience with an amazing view; showing modern day classics.

Sterling’s Market | farmer and artisan market held every Saturday in the parking lot of  St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.

The Flora Culture | plant shop.

The Galleria | indoor shopping mall featuring designer brands, popular eateries and ice skating.

The Museum For Black Girls | immersive pop-up sensory museum celebrating black culture.

The Rustic | casual dining experience featuring live music.

Uptown Park Shopping Center | shopping center featuring boutique brands, unique dining experiences and a farmers market that’s held every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 3p-6p in the parking lot.

Waterwall Park | beautiful landscape with a waterfall wall; great place for photos.
