In case you're not in the know, the Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in the late 80's out of Buffalo, New York. I was just a toddler when the Goo Goo Dolls released their first studio album, "Goo Goo Dolls" in 1987.
Some of my favorite tracks by the Goo Goo Dolls are: Iris from the "Dizzy Up the Girl" album released in 1998, Sympathy from "Gutterflower" released in 2002, Better Days from the "Let Love In" album released in 2006, Black Balloon also from "Dizzy Up the Girl", and Name from the "A Boy Named Goo" album released in 1995...just to name a few.
In addition to releasing their new album on May 6th, the Goo-Goo Dolls are also on tour this summer so if you haven't seen a live Goo Goo Dolls performance go check it out when they're in town. I'm loving their new track from Boxes, check out the official "So Alive" lyric video below.
