Visiting Texas: Date Night at Houston Axe Throwing

Houston Butterflies. I tried the gun range for the first time about two years ago and archery for the first time about five years ago and although my fingers were throbbing afterwards on both occasions, it was an awesome experience. More recently, I got to experience axe throwing for the first time at Houston Axe Throwing, Houston's first indoor urban axe throwing range and the first axe throwing club in Texas.

Not only is it great for a night out with friends, bachelor/ette parties, and team building it can be a form of stress relief. There is nothing quite like learning a new skill, mastering it and releasing your inner lumberjack/jill. The moment you stick your first bullseye, you'll be hooked.

Sessions are 1.5-2.5 hours long and are spent becoming intimate with a 1.5lb piece of whirling wood and metal as you learn, practice and then finally square off in a group tournament for the title of Axe Throwing Champion. Axe Throwing sessions are run by trained Axeperts who will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you tips on how to capture that illustrious Bullseye!

The minimum age to participate is 18, children ages 12+ can participate with a parent/guardian if they are with a parent/guardian at all times, and it is a 1 adult to 1 child aged 12+ ratio. NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE AT ALL.

Purchase tickets at https://houstonaxe.com ...take $5 off admission to a 2.5 hour session using the offer code USFAMILY at checkout.
