Fashion Trends: Low-Priced Fashion Glasses on Amazon + Review!

Brown Frame Clear Lens Fashion Glasses

If you're in the market for some fashion glasses and don't want to spend a lot of argent (money) then head over to Amazon.com. I was able to find me a couple of cuties (pictured above) for under five bucks each which is a really great deal compared to spending $20-$40 at a store in the mall. Happy Shopping!

They are better than I expected! I was very worried that they would be too big and over power my face and other accessories but to my surprise they looked really great and everyone complimented me on them. I like to think I have an average sized head and these fit great, not to small not too big and for the cost I think these glasses are of a very good quality and they are very fashionable. They come in many different colors and ship really fast; I received mines in just a few days from my order date.

In the Kitchen: Quick Homemade Chocolate Frosting

Hi Butterflies! So it's my guys birthday and instead of buying a cake I decided to make one from scratch and that includes the icing. Here's how I made the icing...

Using the ingredients below, combine chocolate chips, evaporated milk, butter and vanilla in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on full power for 30-40 seconds. Remove and whisk until mixture is smooth (return to microwave for a few seconds if necessary). Add powdered sugar and continue whisking until smooth. SPREAD WHILE IT'S WARM for better frosting results! You may also mix frosting via stove top. To do so follow the same steps about but use the lowest heat as possible, stir continuously. Also this recipe only makes enough frosting for one 9in round or a small square (brownie) pan, if you are making a bigger or two layered cake you may double the recipe.

In the Kitchen: Double Layered Chocolate on Chocolate Cake

My husband's birthday was this week and as a yummy surprise I decide to bake for him (he's a chocoholic)! I came across a cake recipe on FoodyTuby's YouTube channel that I wanted to try out and give it my own personal touch. I honestly can't remember the last time I baked anything (haha) so you can just imagine how interesting of an experience this was for me. Anyway to sum it up my Double Layered Chocolate on Chocolate Cake was a hit at the palace and I need a new mixer ASAP lol! ;-)

Top & Bottom photos on the left are of the homemade icing, right photo is of the finished frosted caked.
Cake Ingredients:

2 Boxes of Chocolate Cake Mix
2 Packages Of Chocolate Pudding Mix
1 1/2 Cups Of Sour Cream
1 1/2 Cup Of Vegetable Oil
2/3 Cup Of Water
2/3 Cup of Milk
1  Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon of Almond Extract

Mixing & Baking Instructions:

Pre-heat oven to 350, add cake mix and jello to large mixing bowl then add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour mixed batter into two greased & floured baking pans (round or square) and bake for 25-35 minutes.

Tip:

Adding milk is optional, I did so because my batter was too thick for my liking so I used the milk to loosen it up a bit. If you are ok with the thickness of your batter then skip adding the milk. Because of all the added ingredients and ovens vary it may take longer to bake, I suggest using the old school baking method of sticking a toothpick or fork into the center of the cake to check if it's done.

Check out FoodyTuby's Chocolate Cake Video below...it's yummy and super moist! ;-)

Beauty Trends: Amber Rose with Hair?

This is the Amber we all know and love. For years she's been rocking her signature look (and very well I might add) but she recently decided to change it up. Check out these photos Amber posted via her Instagram @MuvaRosebud of her rocking hair!

Amber rocking her long golden locs! She looks totally different right?

Here's a short but hilarious video of Amber aka Muva Rosebud flipping her golden tresses on Vine.

Around the World From Home: Serena Accepts French Open Trophy in French

If you know me you know I love the French culture (I'm a huge fan of Serena too) and their language is my favorite. Anyway, I came across this video and thought it was cute. It reminds me of the many times I tried speaking French.
