Tech Tip: #HashTags Come to Facebook!

Hashtags are the new rave amongst changes Facebook has made according to the Huffington Post last week Facebook announced that they will introduce clickable hashtags. Most of the popular social media sites such as Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and Google+ have been using hashtags for a quite a while.

Hashtags are tags embedded in a social media post or message consisting of a specific word, term, or topic within the message prefixed with a hash sign that people can click to see all posts that are included in the public tag.

Other changes Facebook have made include being able to edit a post on Facebook for up to a few seconds after your original post (but before anyone comments) and you can also request a fan page name change with out having to go through the many channels of verification and procedures (this only applies for certain cases, read more about it here) unlike in the past.
