Mom Life: 2018 STEM, Music and Art Summer Camps in Texas

Hey Butterfly Mommies. It’s important we keep the kiddos minds and bodies active year round, even when they’re on break. My kid is extremely into science but she’s not quite ready for a physics tutor, so my mission currently is to find fun science related activities for her to engage in this summer so she’s having fun and learning at the same time. Since school is almost out for the summer, I thought I’d share a few fun and educational science, technology, engineering, math, and art summer camps that I’ve come across taking place in Texas.

3 Hues - Arts and crafts camp.
Austin Zoo - Nature and science camp.
Digital Media Academy - Students get to learn, create and experience college campuses across the US and Canada. One and two week camps available.
ID Tech - Coding, robotics, and game development.
Little Beakers - An actual science lab built for kids. 6/4 - 8/31
Texas Arts Project - Summer camp for performing and media arts.
Texas Strings Festival - Orchestra camp.
University of Houston-Downtown - Several different academic camps to choose from.
