The only knowledge I had about one of the world’s most influential women of all time when I was growing up is that she got married A LOT, that’s pretty much the only thing people cared about. I recently discovered some pretty cool new things that I never knew about her. Elizabeth Taylor was born in the UK and later moved to the US with her family. She started acting as a youth and later became a very respected businesswoman and humanitarian. She became royalty, made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000. Elizabeth Taylor was born with distichiasis (double eyelashes) which gave her naturally fuller looking eyelashes and another genetic mutation that caused her dark blue eyes to appear violet at times. Elizabeth Taylor’s unique natural beauty was and still is admired by people all over the world. Her birthday is today February 27th, so in celebration of her I’m sharing some of my favorite Elizabeth Taylor quotes below:

So I'm listening to Pandora at work today and one of my favorite songs from 2014 by Walk the Moon came on and I've been smiling ever since. It's weird that it came on today because yesterday I was exchanging corny jokes with a friend and one of the jokes that was sent to me was "what do you get when you cross an insomniac with a ballerina?...someone who dances the night away" haha. Anyway, this song always puts me in a great mood...check it out:
