Book: Alpabet Gumbo | A Guide to Spicing Up Your Sex Life by Ique Brown

Butterflies, I recently purchased an autographed copy of Alphabet Gumbo from the author and when I first read the title it reminded me of the Chicken Soup books I use to read as a teenager; this warm feeling came over me and I though this should be a great read because I use to love the Chicken Soup books (especially Chicken Soup for the Soul). 

In the  introduction the author and Founder of Joy-gasms, D Ique Brown talks a lot about how the value of both relationships and marriage have changed over the years and then she goes on to compare intimacy/sex to food; the two things all humans crave at some point in their life.

The book is written in an A-Z format (which should allow for an easy read), breaking down each important aspect of the Alphabet Gumbo (relationship intimacy) for the purpose of spicing up your love life. The author also gives readers specific instructions in the introduction to spend about two weeks reading and putting into practice each section without moving on to the next section until you completely understand it's importance and she suggests couples read the book together.

With that being said I'm going to break down my review of this book into several parts and share my thoughts with you. Also, I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know the author of this book and professionally speaking she is a great person so I'm really looking forward to reading this book and giving you guys my honest feedback, review and overall opinion of Alphabet Gumbo!
