*Please always consult with your primary care provider for any medical advice.*

We have all been watching in extreme disbelief of what’s been happening in Asia and Europe over the last few weeks and the only thing we can do is stay informed and prepare. This has been one of the hardest months for my family since the start of Covid. The virus is finally hitting home and it’s breaking my heart; I feel like I’ve prayed more in the last few weeks than I have in my entire life. I’m vaccinating, wearing a mask, social distancing, and praying; still I wish there was more that I could do to keep my family and friends safe. I took the 2nd dose of the Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine this past weekend and started having pain in my armpit that same afternoon. Everyone I know that got the vaccine before me said that the 2nd dose makes you really sick and I honestly didn’t think it would be this bad. I woke up in the middle of the night to the horrible pain in my armpit, a headache, body aches, nausea, and a fever. After googling the armpit pain (because it is the worst) I found this post on Reddit that made me not worry as much, apparently the armpit pain is due to swollen lymph nodes which is normal after the 2nd dose. I was feeling better by day four. 3rd dose/booster shot is in six months.
