7 Fun & Budget Friendly Things To Do In the Summer

Aloha Butterflies! What's your favorite season? I personally prefer the fall because the weather is usually just right and the holidays are approaching but, as much as I love fall, I'm not ready for summer to be over just yet. I mean who does when there's just so much fun to be had in the summer months, from cookouts, to water-parks, to festivals, and concerts. Music: Post Malone - Congratulations

Hey Butterflies it's been a while since I posted about music, I guess nothings catching my ear these days. I'm not really a fan of the new mumble rap trend which is why most of today's rap music doesn't catch my attention, but this track I let play for some reason and not just because the artist is from my home state lol. The artist, Post Malone is originally from New York, but grew up here in Texas (Grapevine). His break out track that got him a lot of attention last year while he opened for Justin Bieber on the 'Purpose World Tour' was White Iverson. Believe it or not Justin Bieber inspired him to get his first tattoo and he has gotten several since then, including a tattoo of a JFK portrait. His style is unique, combining hip-hop, country and punk rock. As of today, Congratulations is listed as #9 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart. What do you think about Post Malone?

Wellness: What is Self-Loathing?

Butterflies, I seriously contemplated long and hard about sharing this with you guys because I really don’t like to dwell in the negative too much but since the recent Kodak Black and Essence situation I thought this would be the perfect time to share that there are actually people out there who think like him and sadly I personally know a few. Kodak Black basically said he didn’t want to get with a dark skinned chick because he’s dark skinned and that he prefers fair skinned women over dark skinned women because fair skinned women are more “sensitive". (#redflag) I don't want you guys to think that I have a problem with his preference because I absolutely do not, what I disagree with is him degrading other women while in the process of disclosing his preference.
