Music: Soul Singer Betty Wright

Butterflies, one of my favorite soul singers passed away today. Betty Wright had a unique voice and mastered the art of storytelling through music. Even though her music was before my time, I grew up listening to a few of her songs which is how I came to love her. Wright’s music expressed thoughts on life, love, and relationships that many people relate to. I definitely can relate to a lot of her songs. 90’s Music Spotlight: Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind

Do you have a song that you never get tired of hearing no matter how old it gets? This is one of those songs for me, I never get tired of hearing it. Semi-Charmed Life was released in May of 1997 by the San Francisco rock band Thrid Eye Blind, which was featured on their first studio album titled “Third Eye Blind”. Check out the track and my favorite lyrics from it below:
