Book: Alpabet Gumbo | A Guide to Spicing Up Your Sex Life by Ique Brown

Alphabet Gumbo by D. Ique BrownButterflies, I recently purchased an autographed copy of Alphabet Gumbo from the author and when I first read the title it reminded me of the Chicken Soup books I use to read as a teenager; this warm feeling came over me and I though this should be a great read because I use to love the Chicken Soup books (especially Chicken Soup for the Soul).

In the  introduction the author and Founder of Joy-gasms, D Ique Brown talks a lot about how the value of both relationships and marriage have changed over the years and then she goes on to compare intimacy/sex to food; the two things all humans crave at some point in their life.

Movies: Red Tails

Red Tails is an American war film about African American fighter pilots serving in the United States Army Air Force (USAAF) during World War II, known by many as the Tuskegee Airmen. Red Tails was directed by Anthony Hemingway and executive producer George Lucas. So many people doubted the success of Red Tails but according to media reports Red Tails brought in over $49,000,000.

I went to see Red Tails this weekend and I give it two thumbs up, it was a great movie! I am a lover of history in general and since this movie was released just in time for the start of the celebration of black history month it made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Life Update: Weight Lost Journey - 6 Week Update

Here's my update.....

So far I'm down 12 lbs, I'm cooking more at home and I'm keeping up with my workouts. I love the feeling I get after a hard workout and the amount of energy working out has given me is amazing. I think I'm in love with working out!

Sorry, pics were lost.
